Spaghetti Jive is a love letter and celebration of Courtney's Roman heritage and the soundtrack to her father and family's migrancy from Rome to Australia on the Achille Lauro boat in the 1960's. 

Performance art delivered with undeniable charm and quiet ingenuity, the eclectic 'Queen of Keys' Courtney Severini has established herself as one of Australia's most sought-after pianists and vocalists.

With a flair for blending improvisation and the music of her European heritage, this genre-bending chanteuse effortlessly transitions from soulful crooner to rock star persona, enchanting audiences from intimate bars to the concert stage.

Her alter-ego, the "Piano Accordion Lady," is a regular fixture on the cabaret and festival circuit, polka-fying everything from Chisel to Kylie. Paired with her knack for spontaneity, she transforms any sidewalk sing-along into a street party.

A University of Melbourne graduate in classical piano with a Masters in Creative Music Therapy, Courtney is celebrated for her versatility and stellar musicianship. Whether fronting her Italo-Rockabilly band Spaghetti Jive, performing with her jazz quartet (SIMA International Women's Jazz Festival 2024), or as a touring artist (Patrizio Buanne, Squeeze Queens, Ita & the Choirgirls), Courtney shines brightly with her signature authenticity and playful style.
